Paranormal Activity
Paranormal Activity ranks up there with Blair Witch, in my opinion, as one of the most disappointing movies ever. While in limited release, it received substantial press touting it as one of the most terrifying movies ever. After having seen it I can only wonder if the press sampling was made up entirely of five year old children. The acting was subpar, particularly that of the leading female (Katie Featherston). There were a few moments that might startle you but only 2 or 3. The camera work was much better than Blair Witch in that you won’t get nauseated while viewing it and was probably the highlight of the film. While the ending is strange, I won’t give it away, it is not terrifying in the least. If you want scary, stick with The Exorcist or even the later Nightmare on Elm Street movies and save your $10.

So did you watch AVATAR yet? Everyone says its the greatest movie ever and stuff, I haven’t got out to check it out yet.
